Our Story

Many years ago, while the Vazquez family frequently traveled throughout much of Mexico visiting family, the Vazquez kids, with the help of cousins and friends, ventured to most eating establishments, from fancy restaurants to hole-in-the-wall places, as well as a good number of street food vendors or food carts.

As in the US, where each region or state has its own flavor profile or way of making the same dish, the same is true in Mexico; there are so many variations of the taco that it would make your head spin. Back then, little did we know that eating all those tacos was going to lead to a wealth of accumulated knowledge and information about what was good and what was not so good about a taco. There is truly a science behind a great taco: so many moving parts and methods, everything must come together just right to create the perfect one.

After years of studying and analyzing ingredients, diverse methods of cooking, and very willing and able focus groups, it’s done. The PERFECT taco.

We have never attended culinary school; rather, we were schooled by life, active taste buds, and the quest for the best taco ever.
The relationship between us and the taco is a love story that can only be explained by tasting our creations.
